UK VFX COMMUNITY COMES TOGETHER
On Tuesday 25th March, we held an evening of community support and resources, for those currently out of work. Organised and hosted by Framestore, multiple studios and companies were there to offer advice, support, talk about their open roles, mentoring and more. Watch some videos from the evening via our Instagram channel.
This event aimed to connect those looking for work with organisations offering crucial support including:
✅ Training & Mentoring
✅ Financial Support
✅ Employment Assistance
✅ Networking Opportunities
Those seeking guidance, job opportunities, or just a supportive network, certainly found that amongst our wonderful community. 700 people came through the Framestore doors for this event, mostly from the UK, but some came from other parts of Europe.
We sincerely hope that we can do this event again in a year’s time but this time to talk about how our industry has changed for the better.
Although this event was focused on UK workers, many of the resources on offer are useful internationally. Please check out our top picks on our Jobs and Support page for more information.
If you need any advice or support, please reach out to these wonderful organisations, they all exist to help others. We are lucky to have one of the most supportive communities, so help and support isn’t too far away.
If you have any resources you would like us to include, or any ideas on future events, please get in touch.

JOBS & SUPPORT
Our industry has been calling for change for some time, long before Covid and the strikes, and we are all hoping there will be a new dawn of studios and structures to help facilitate this and secure a more positive future for all.
